Matthew Peters, McCarthy Tétrault’s National Innovation Leader, has been recognized in the Business category for being a driver of change in the firm and legal industry. Responsible for leading the firm’s cutting-edge initiatives around innovation and client services, Matthew led the development of MT>Divisions, McCarthy Tétrault’s innovative business lines.

In 2018, MT>Divisions launched two new businesses: MT>Align, a model unique to Canada, where clients can have access to top-tier lawyers on a short-term or temporary basis, supported by the resources of a storied law firm; and MT>Play, a global gaming consultancy firm focused on the lottery and gaming space, staffed by legal and non-legal experts.
