A Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist with ACAMS, Cindy has extensive experience with Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and FINTRAC regulations. She works with financial institutions and fintechs to design compliant digital financial products and services related to consumer lending, payment processing, and outsourcing. She is well-versed in Canadian consumer protection regulations, the Bank Act, and Payments Canada rules. When necessary, Cindy works closely with clients to help them address federal or provincial regulatory disputes that impact their business.
