McCarthy Tétrault advises GE Capital Canada Funding Company on landmark $5.15 billion debt tender offer
Toronto, May 13, 2016 — McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to announce that the firm acted for GE Capital Canada Funding Company in connection with the cash tender offers by the company to purchase up to $5.15 billion of certain of its outstanding Canadian dollar medium term notes guaranteed by GE. The landmark debt tender offers were the largest in Canadian history, with over 68% of the notes tendered.
