Adam Goldenberg, a McCarthy Tétrault Litigation Lawyer, is awarded the Meritorious Service Medal
Toronto, January 8, 2018 — McCarthy Tétrault warmly congratulates Adam Goldenberg on being awarded the Meritorious Service Medal by the Governor General of Canada, the Right Honourable Julie Payette. This medal recognizes Adam’s significant contributions as a co-founder of Teach for Canada.

Adam is a member of McCarthy Tétrault’s Litigation Group in Toronto. His practice includes trial and appellate advocacy, and he has appeared before all levels of court, including in the Supreme Court of Canada. He teaches appellate practice and procedure as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto, and served as Law Clerk to the Right Honourable Beverley McLachlin, Chief Justice of Canada, in 2016-17.
Teach For Canada is a not-for-profit organization that works with northern First Nations to recruit, prepare and support outstanding teachers. Since 2015, more than 100 Teach For Canada teachers have entered the classroom in on-reserve schools. Adam continues to serve as a member of Teach For Canada’s Board of Directors.
