As part of the redevelopment of Ontario's 400 series highway service centres, Canadian Tire Corporation Limited (CTC) and Kilmer Developments Limited, an affiliate of Kilmer Van Nostrand Co. Limited, entered into a joint venture on March 31, 2010 to build and operate the gas stations and associated convenience stores in each of those service centres pursuant to a 50-year agreement with the Province of Ontario and various other entities.
