On March 1, 2010, Integrated Team Solutions (ITS) reached commercial and financial close with Infrastructure Ontario to design, build, finance and maintain the new Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse Project (the “Project”).  The ITS team includes Fengate Capital Management/LPF Infrastructure Fund, EllisDon Corporation and SNC-Lavalin Operations and Maintenance Inc.

The Project is a new, multi-storey building with space to accommodate 38 judicial rooms comprised of 30 courtrooms and 8 conference settlement rooms, and will be delivered using an Alternate Financing and Procurement model.  ITS will receive annual payments from the Province of Ontario over a 30-year period, which will cover design, construction, project financing and building maintenance for 30 years after construction.  After the 30 years, the cost of the contract for the Project will total approximately $766,000,000.  Equity is being provided by Fengate Capital Management/LPF Infrastructure Fund and EllisDon Inc.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP represented the syndicate of lenders, with a team led by Byran Gibson that also included Sarah Bird, Samantha Cunliffe, and Morgan Troke.
