Curtis is currently completing his J.D. at the University of Western Ontario. Before attending law school, he attended the University of Calgary and received his Bachelors of Commerce with Distinction in 2013, majoring in International Business.
In his first summer of law school, Curtis interned in sports law at Martens Rechtsanwalte in Munich, Germany. There, he worked primarily with the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport on athlete contractual issues, club discipline and anti-doping compliance.
Prior to his undergraduate degree, Curtis spent two years as a member of the Junior National Cross Country Ski Team in Canmore, Alberta. In his spare time, Curtis enjoys travelling, Olympic lifting, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
