Montréal, July 14, 2014 — McCarthy Tétrault is delighted to announce that Stéphane Duval and David Nachfolger have joined the firm’s Labour & Employment Group in Montreal. Mr. Duval and Mr. Nachfolger bring extensive experience in corporate immigration law.

Mr. Duval joins as a partner and leader of the firm's Montreal-based immigration practice. A sought after legal practitioner and speaker, Stéphane advises both local businesses and large multinational corporations on their immigration and global mobility policy. He is a frequent commentator on local and national media networks and has advised many of the world's leading corporations on their expansion into Canada. Mr. Duval is routinely called upon to help clients translate evolving government regulation into effective and strategic plans to grow their business and secure top talent. He currently serves as Vice-Chair of the Canadian Bar Association, National Section and also President of the Québec division.

Mr. Nachfolger joins the firm’s immigration law practice with a focus on immigration and emigration matters for multinational companies, both in Canada and abroad. He will serve clients on a wide range of matters, supporting all business sectors with complete immigration and visa services, including overall strategic global mobility policy and planning, temporary resident and work permits, permanent resident applications, citizenship issues, inadmissibility challenges, and family sponsorship.
