McCarthy Tétrault announces Mentoring Awards

Toronto, June 15, 2011 — McCarthy Tétrault is excited to announce this year’s recipients of the McCarthy Tétrault Mentoring Awards. Launched nationally in 2008, the awards recognize and celebrate lawyers from across the firm for making significant contributions to the professional experience of students and associates.
Over 200 mentoring nominations were received this year, highlighting the growing success of the firm’s mentorship initiatives. This year's winners are:

This year the firm has launched a Legacy Mentors Recognition Initiative to recognize those individuals who have influenced the career success of our leading mentors. Additionally, as a part of its commitment to professional development, the firm conducted a series of mentoring workshops for mentors and mentees across the country to promote effective mentoring relationships.
Each region held a reception to honour its winners and nominees for their dedication and genuine interest in the career progression and education of their mentees. McCarthy Tétrault is committed to the professional development of its lawyers and actively promotes formal and informal mentoring for both students and associates, including through a firm-wide mentoring program.
