Malcolm Mercer Elected Bencher in Ontario

Toronto, May 2, 2011 — McCarthy Tétrault is pleased to congratulate our partner and General Counsel, Malcolm Mercer, on his election as a bencher of The Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC).

Malcolm’s election continues the firm’s long tradition of actively participating in governing the profession. McCarthy Tétrault partner Tom Heintzman, recently stepped down from a Bencher position. He was preceded by Niels Ortved, Justice Colin Campbell, Arthur Scace, Justice George Finlayson and John J. Robinette.
