Charles-Alexandre Jobin is an associate in our Business Law Group in Québec City. His practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and project financing, securities and general corporate legal matters.
While articling and since he has become an associate, Mr. Jobin has assisted with the drafting of contract documentation and the due diligence process in various matters where the firm represented the interests of lenders, borrowers, purchasers, sellers and issuers.
Mr. Jobin obtained a bachelor’s degree in civil law from Université Laval in 2015 and was listed on the honour roll. During university, he spent a year studying abroad at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom where he earned a Certificate in English Law. He was also involved in the Lawyers Without Borders group and the Bureau d’information juridique at Université Laval. At the fourth Université Laval Tax Symposium, he was awarded the Quessy Henry St-Hilaire scholarship for the quality of his presentation.
Mr. Jobin was called to the Quebec Bar in 2017 and is a member of the Canadian Bar Association.
