Hakim Kassam is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. He maintains a general litigation practice including corporate commercial litigation, professional liability and professional discipline.
Mr. Kassam received his JD from the University of Windsor in 2015. While in law school, he was awarded the Blake’s Scholar Award and the Charles J Clark Scholarship in law. In his final year of law school, Mr. Kassam was invited to the 13th Oxford International Intellectual Property Moot based on his written submissions which were ranked in the top ten in the world. Throughout law school, Mr. Kassam worked as a litigator at Community Legal Aid, representing clients on a range of matters at the Ontario Court of Justice and the Landlord Tenant Board.
Mr. Kassam obtained his BA (Hon.) from Queen’s University in Political Studies and Philosophy. Prior to law school, Hakim worked at The Stop Community Food Centre – a non-profit organization in Toronto with a focus of making healthy food more accessible.
Mr. Kassam was called to the Ontario bar in 2016. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
