Dextin (Dex) Zucchi is an associate in our Litigation Group in Calgary. He has a general corporate commercial litigation practice.
Before he joined the firm, Dex completed articles of clerkship with the Court of Queen’s Bench in Calgary. As a law clerk, he worked closely with the judiciary on complex commercial matters at various stages of the court process. At the firm, Dex has assisted on a broad range of disputes relating to breach of contract, partnership law, trusts, securities, and negligence.
Dex obtained his Honours BA (with Distinction) in History and Political Science at the University of Victoria in 2011. He received his JD from the University of Calgary in 2015. While in law school, he was on the Dean’s List and received several scholarships in recognition of academic achievement. Dex was ranked the second top oralist in Canada at the Davies’ Annual Corporate/Securities Law Moot and served on the Alberta Law Review’s Editorial Board.
Dex was called to the Alberta bar in 2016. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Calgary Bar Association.
