Jordan V. Katz

Jordan Katz is an associate in our Litigation Group in Toronto. He maintains a general litigation practice including corporate commercial litigation, professional liability and regulatory matters.
Mr. Katz received his JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2014. While in law school, he was awarded the Stephanie Fleur Couzin Mooting Award for outstanding performance in, and commitment to, the mooting program. He was an oralist in the Faculty of Law’s 2013 Grand Moot, won top prize and top factum in the 2013 Davies Corporate/Securities Moot as part of the University of Toronto team, and was a member of the Moot Court Committee. Throughout law school, Mr. Katz worked as a family law caseworker at Downtown Legal Services, representing clients on a range of matters at the Ontario Court of Justice. He also served on the Senior Board of the University of Toronto Faculty of Law Review.
Mr. Katz obtained his Masters in economic development from the University of Waterloo and a BA (Hon.) from the University of Toronto in Urban Studies and Political Science. Prior to law school, he worked for a boutique economic development consultancy, providing strategic advice to communities and governments across Canada.
Mr. Katz was called to the Ontario bar in 2015. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
