Diego Beltran is an associate in our Projects Group in the Real Property and Planning Group in Toronto. He maintains a general corporate commercial practice with an emphasis on public-private partnerships, project procurement and construction matters. He has represented government institutions, domestic and international financial institutions, private equity firms and renewable energy companies.
Diego joined the firm as a summer student in 2012. He received a JD from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law in 2013. He also holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes (Bogota, Colombia).
Prior to joining the firm, Diego advised Fortune 500 clients on workforce management and human capital strategy as a senior managing consultant for two world class consultancies. He is fluent in Spanish and is an avid aviator.
Diego was called to the Ontario bar in 2014 and admitted to the New York bar in 2014. He is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar and the Ontario Bar Associations and the American Bar and New York State Bar Associations.
