Lama Sabbagh is an associate in our Business Law Group in Toronto. She maintains a general corporate practice.

Ms. Sabbagh joined McCarthy Tétrault as a student in 2011. During this time, she completed a three month secondment to the Toronto-Dominion Bank and a six week secondment to the Corporate Finance Branch of the Ontario Securities Commission.

Ms. Sabbagh obtained her J.D. from the University of Windsor in 2012. She received her M.B.A. with a focus in Strategy and Entrepreneurship in 2009 and her B.Comm (Hons.) with Distinction in 2008, majoring in Finance with a double minor in Political Science and Economics, at the University of Windsor.  While in law school, Ms. Sabbagh served as the Vice President of Finance of the Students’ Law Society, the Executive Vice President of the Charter Project, and was a teaching assistant for business law. She was the recipient of numerous awards for academic excellence and commitment to public service. During business school, Ms. Sabbagh was the President of the Commerce Society and a finance teaching assistant.

Ms. Sabbagh was called to the Ontario bar in 2013. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Bar Association and Ontario Bar Association.
