Genevieve Pinto is a partner in our Business Law Group in Vancouver. Her practice is primarily focused on corporate finance, securities, mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters.
Ms. Pinto represents clients in a wide variety of industries, including mining, technology, biotech, real estate and retail.
Ms. Pinto’s experience involves acting for public and private companies and underwriters in Canadian and cross-border securities offerings and advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, take-over bids, joint ventures, general corporate matters, corporate governance issues and public company regulatory compliance and disclosure obligations.
Ms. Pinto joined the firm in March, 2007 from another national firm practicing in similar areas. She received a BA in English literature and Commerce from the University of British Columbia in 2002 and her LLB from the University of British Columbia in 2005. Ms. Pinto was called to the British Columbia bar in 2006.
Ms. Pinto is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, Vancouver, the Association of Women in Finance, the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of British Columbia.
