On February 22, 2023, First Student Inc. announced the purchase by its affiliate Autobus Transco (1988) Inc. of the all of the shares of Autobus Laval Ltée.

Autobus Laval Ltée is a company involved in school transportation, charter bus operations, and coach services operations in the Québec City region, and which operates a fleet of 179 buses.

First Student Inc. is the largest provider of school bus services in North America headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio, with a fleet of about 46,600 buses.
