Maxime Bellerose is a paralegal with the Financial Services Group and also provides support for the Real Property and Planning Group in our Montréal office. performs corporate and securities searches on a regular basis in the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights, the Bank Act Registry and the registry of the Superintendent of Bankruptcy, and prepares search reports. He assists lawyers in the drafting and filing of various acts and forms, including acts of cancellation/discharge of mortgage, mortgage forms, transfers and cancellations, to be published in the Land Register and the Register of Personal and Movable Real Rights. He also carries out due diligence reviews with regard to property acquisition or financing (off-title searches).
joining McCarthy Tétrault in January 2017, he worked for the Directeur de l’état civil (Québec registrar of civil status) and the Commission québécoise des libérations conditionnelles (Québec parole board).
